Synnex preliminary consolidated financial results were as follows:
In Q3’14, Synnex consolidated revenue was NT$90.3bn, showed a 5% YOY growth and reach the second highest in history. Among that, IT and IC components revenue both hit the single-season highest in history. In Sep’14 Synnex consolidated revenue was NT$33.9bn, showed a 9% YOY growth and hit the single-month highest in history.
By products breakdown were as follows:
(1). IT sales revenue:
In Sep’14 the sales revenue was NT$18.0bn, almost equal to NT$18.1bn in the prior year. In Q3’14 the sales revenue totaled NT$47.9bn, showed a 1% YOY growth over NT$47.5bn in the prior year.
(2). Telecom revenue:
In Sep’14 the sales revenue was NT$1.7bn, showed a 12% YOY growth over NT$1.5bn in the prior year. In Q3’14 the sales revenue totaled NT$4.8bn, showed a 3% YOY growth over NT$4.7bn in the prior year.
(3). Consumer Electronics revenue:
In Sep’14 the sales revenue was NT$6.5bn, showed a significant 30% YOY growth over NT$4.9bn in the prior year. In Q3’14 the sales revenue totaled NT$14.0bn, showed a 1% YOY growth over NT$13.8bn in the prior year.
(4). IC components revenue:
In Sep’14 the sales revenue was NT$7.7bn, showed a 16% YOY growth over NT$6.6bn in the prior year. In Q3’14 the sales revenue totaled NT$23.6bn, showed a 20% YOY growth over NT$19.7bn in the prior year.
By the product segment, the sales revenue was NT$90.3bn in Q3’14 and reach the second highest in history. All the four major products showed the growth trend, IT and IC components revenue both hit the single-season highest in history. IT market continues to be strong, IT demand from the students back to school, purchase plan from enterprises and government and other commercial demand also are strong; About consumer electronics products, Microsoft starts the game market in China, Xbox One and related software products released officially in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, as well as Surface Pro 3 and new products onto the market, bringing the contribution of revenue growth; About the telecom market, due to iPhone 6 launched and high cost-performance smart phone sales booming play the key role to revenue growth in Q3’14; About IC components, the growth momentum is lasting since last year, remains 20% growth in Q3’14.
By the geographic segment, all regions showed a growth trend except China. In Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia, the revenue is growing more than 20%. In July, the automated logistics center launched in Sydney adds the operation capacity; In August and September, to add HP full commercial-products and Apple iPad makes a significant contribution to revenue growth. In Indonesia, we are lasting to explore the new distribution. The remains business is keeping growing, as well as ASUS ZenFone phone added growth momentum. In addition, In Taiwan we increase the full lines of Acer products also brings the business growth.
