Introduction

MEB (PT Metrodata E Bisnis) founded on May 23, 2000 which was a subsidiary of the ME (PT Metrodata Electronics,Tbk) group. ME founded in 1983 and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 1990, is one of Indonesia’s leading information communications technology groups. Synnex partnered with ME to set up a 50-50 joint venture in 2011, and Synnex subscribed new shares from MEB which owned by 50% ownership, and MEB re-named as PT. Synnex Metrodata Indonesia (“SMI”) after joint venture. SMI product lines encompass Information Communication Technology products including IT infrastructure, applications, network, power, analytics, devices, IoT….etc. , and now SMI is the largest ITC distributor in Indonesia.
