Synnex preliminary consolidated financial results were as follows:
Q3’16 consolidated revenue was NT$91.0bn, with an increase of 8% YOY from NT$84.5bn in the prior year, and hit the highest record over the same period. Sep’16 consolidated revenue was NT$32.3bn, with a growth of 8% YOY from NT$30.0bn in the prior year, and stroke the highest record in this year. Q3YTM’16 reached to NT$252.1bn, with 11%YOY growth from NT$227.9bn in the prior year, and broke the historical high record. Due to the extraordinary performance in the first three quarters, Synnex is looking forward to enjoying outstanding revenue performance for the whole year of 2016.
Synnex achieved stunning revenue performance in Q3’16 continuing the remarkable performance from the last two quarters, and broke numerous new records. By geographic segment, not only the consistent growth in Indonesia, but also China kept growing for consecutive four quarters since Q4’15 after the launch for new operating strategy and structure in 2015. Moreover, the revenue in Taiwan increased over 30% YOY for continuous two quarters due to the expansion in market share.
By the product segment, the IT product and IC component made brisk performance, and both set the highest record in the history. Q3’16 IT related sales reached to NT$51.1bn with 9%YOY growth. Due to the expansion of the product line of commercial market, the development of channel, and the synergy from the cloud business, the Commercial product revenue grew 20%YOY. Furthermore, in Q3’16 the Retail system revenue grew 17% YOY. The growth was mainly from the grasp of the trend in the gaming PC and NB market and the demand from VR, as well as expansion in the market share of middle and high level product.
IC component amounted NT$26.5bn in Q3’16, with an increase of 7%YOY, also set a new high record in the history. Besides the expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) product line, the innovative supply chain service model, software design, and the solution improvement would also be the critical factor of the strong growth.
Telecom revenue totaled NT$5.2bn in Q3’16, with strong growth of 19%YOY, and came to the highest record from 2013. The growth was mainly from the launch of iPhone 7 in September, bringing the growth in sales. Consumer Electronic revenue slightly declined 2%YOY mainly from the slowdown of the shrink in tablet market, in the meanwhile, expanding the market share of wearable devices, VR and other consumer products.
