Synnex's (2347) announced that its unaudited consolidated revenue for 2021, which reached NT$409.4 billion, a significant increase of 22% or NT$75.2 billion from previous year, and at the same time, it has reached a record high and exceeded the 400 billion mark. Synnex said that the implementation of the Agility Project in recent years has finally come to fruition, which is the main factor behind the leap-forward growth in revenue last year. In addition to the record-breaking consolidated revenue, BUs such as Australia & New Zealand, Indonesia, Taiwan IT, IC component business, and China have all rewritten record highs or new highs in recent years.
Since 2018, Synnex has implemented the Agility Project to accelerate the clearing of unhealthy business, strengthen product portfolios and enhance profit quality; at the same time, it has continued to invest in digital transformation, actively using AI big data analysis to improve business operation efficiency, and improve the degree of automation of operation processes, so as to accurately grasp the demand for supply chain services and respond quickly. Since last year, more efforts have been made to promote the Management Service Platform (MSP) to make upstream and downstream information real-time and transparent, and to provide tailor-made services according to different business types and needs. As a result, the Vendors and Customers are willing to expand and cooperate with Synnex, and driving Synnex's revenue to continue to hit a high.
From a regional perspective, all BUs of Synnex have good performance in 2021. In particular, Australia & New Zealand, Indonesia, Taiwan IT and IC component business have all set new records. Among them, Indonesia, Taiwan IT and IC component business have increased by more than 30% annually. In recent years, China has been committed to adjusting its business physique. After two years of diving, it also hit a new high since 2018 last year, and has grown by nearly 30% compared with the previous year. And in terms of product categories, IT Consumer, IT Commercial and IC components business have simultaneously hit record highs, and all have double-digit annual growth. Among them, IT Commercial business has hit a record high for four consecutive seasons, driving the annual breakthrough of the 100 billion mark.
Looking forward to 2022, although there are many variables in the overall economic environment, Synnex is optimistic about the trend that information products will become rigid demands in the post-epidemic era. Governments are also making every effort to boost economic while preventing the epidemic, so that the business environment will continue to be hot. Coupled with the accelerated deployment of Synnex's Management Service Platform (MSP) and the vigorous promotion of tailor-made services for VIP partners, Synnex will deepen its close cooperation with upstream and downstream customers and expand its market share. Strong revenue performance in 2022 is expected to Leap Forward again.
