        (Reporting from Taipei) The results of the 2017 Best Taiwan Global Brands Rankings were announced on November 21. For the fifteenth time in its history, SYNNEX was named as one of the Best Taiwan Global Brands, the only distributor brand to be recognized in this year’s rankings.

 

  Eligible brands for the rankings include public companies and internationally managed Taiwanese brands. Selection is performed by Interbrand, a global brand consultancy institution, whose brand valuation methodology uses both quantitative and qualitative measures, including the financial performance, role, and strength of each brand.

 

  SYNNEX is the largest high-tech distributor in Asia, and the third largest in the world. In 1997 it began to operate in markets outside of Taiwan and now, after 20 years of developing overseas, it has developed markets in 39 countries and 300 cities. Currently it is looking at operating in the newly emerging Asia market. In September of this year, SYNNEX announced that it will be entering into a joint venture with FPT Group, the largest ITC distribution service provider in Vietnam, to form SYNNEX FPT Distribution Company, and bring its brand into yet another market.

 

  As SYNNEX enters its third decade of operations, it will continue to be the leading brand in the distribution of high-tech products. As it expands into new markets, it will also expand into new fields and businesses. Apart from launching cloud services in six Asian countries last year, it also actively promoted services innovation of Internet of Things (IoT) and commercial services, and made further elaboration to intelligent logistics. Expected to provide SYNNEX’s partners and clients all over the world with higher quality, more comprehensive services, showing that SYNNEX is an international leading brand that has both competitive power and brand value.
