Synnex(2347TW) Posts NT$91.3 billion Q1 Revenue; Enterprise Segment Up Steadily
2025.04.09

Synnex(2347) announced consolidated revenue of NT$91.3 billion for the first quarter of 2025, down 12% year-over-year, mainly due to a normalization in its Semiconductor Business following last year's exceptionally high base. However, the Enterprise Solution Business maintained solid momentum, growing 9% year-over-year and delivering the second-highest Q1 revenue on record.

Semiconductor revenue came in at NT$35.9 billion, down 27% from the same period last year. In Q1 2024, the segment had surged 52% year-over-year, reaching nearly NT$50 billion-a historical high driven by strong customer restocking. Despite this year's correction, Q1 2025 still marks the second-highest first-quarter performance in the segment's history.

The Enterprise Solution Business continued to benefit from enterprise digital transformation initiatives and increased investment in IT infrastructure, with Q1 revenue reaching NT$26.8 billion, up 9% from the prior year.

In contrast, the IT Consumer and Mobile Device segments were affected by weak market sentiment and subdued consumer confidence. Revenues came in at NT$25.9 billion and NT$5.2 billion respectively, both down 3% year-over-year.

Regionally, Indonesia sustained strong growth momentum, posting its fourth consecutive record Q1 with an 8% increase. China and Australia also recorded gains of 6% and 1%, respectively, supported by the strength of the Enterprise Solution Business. Taiwan, however, saw a 5% decline, mainly due to soft smartphone demand.

Looking ahead to the second quarter, Synnex will continue focusing on scaling its high-margin Enterprise Solution Business while actively navigating Semiconductor market volatility. The company remains committed to accelerating digital transformation, enhancing operational efficiency, and expanding its managed services provider (MSP) portfolio to deliver greater value to customers.
