Benefiting from the continued momentum of commercial market demand and the success of developing new customers in the Semiconductor business, Synnex (2347)'s revenue in August continued to hit a new high for the same period, reaching NT$35.9 billion, an increase of 8% over last year. The accumulated revenue for the first eight months of this year was NT$272.9 billion, continuing to rewrite the historical record with an annual increase of 10%.

In August, Synnex's IT Commercial business continued to hit a new high for the same period, up 17% from last year, mainly because the government and enterprises continued to carry out digital transformation and strengthen the construction investment of information security, which drove the commercial market demand. The Semiconductor business actively develops a new service platform, which is widely praised by upstream and downstream of the supply chain. New customers are constantly joining, and the revenue has increased by 26% year-on-year, reaching a new high. As expected, the IT Consumer business was affected by inflation, and terminal purchases shrank by 13% year-on-year.

From a regional perspective, except for China and Taiwan, all regions of Synnex showed growth compared to the same period last year. Among them, Indonesia increased by 22%, hitting a new high for the same period and setting a record of growth for 20 consecutive months; Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand also increased by 15% and 4%, and at the same time reached all-time highs for the same period.

The cumulative revenue performance of the first eight months of this year, IT Commercial business, IT Consumer business and Semiconductor business, all hit record highs in the same period, with an annual increase of 15%, 2% and 16% respectively; the Telecom business also increased by 2% compared with last year.
