Synnex(2347TW) 's first four months revenue reached NT$130.5 billion, an annual growth of 10%

Affected by the overall turbulent environment, China's epidemic prevention policy and the Indonesian Ramadan, Synnex's April revenue was NT$29.7 billion, down 6% from the same period last year, but still the second highest in the same period. The accumulated revenue for the first four months was NT$130.5 billion, which continued to rewrite the record high, with an annual growth of 10%.

 

Since the Shanghai region has been strictly lockdown and controlled for epidemic prevention since the end of March, it has had a serious impact on the production and supply chain. As a result, Synnex China's revenue in April fell by 33%, and the IC Component business also fell by 7%. The rest of region was not afraid of the turbulence environment and still performed well, with Hong Kong and Taiwan growing by 36% and 19% respectively; Indonesia, despite the unfavorable factors of Ramadan in April, was only 2% lower than last year's record high; Australia and New Zealand also remained at their highs for the same period.

 

The general environment in April made end-users have a conservative consumption attitude, resulting in a 19% year-on-year decrease in the IT Consumer business, which is mainly based on consumer products. However, enterprises and the government continued to invest in digital transformation, driving the IT Commercial business to grow by 15%; the service business, which has been actively developed in recent years, has maintained rapid growth, with an annual increase of 62% and revenue of NT$270 million.

 

In the first four months of this year, according to the product category, IT Commercial sales revenue was NT$34.7 billion, an annual increase of 17%, accounting for 27% of the total revenue; IT Consumer sales revenue was NT$47.5 billion, an annual increase of 6%, accounting for 36% of the total revenue; Telecom sales revenue was NT$5.4 billion, annual decrease of 1%, accounting for 4% of the total revenue; IC Component revenue was NT$42.9 billion, a significant increase of 12% over the same period last year, accounting for 33% of total revenue.
