Synnex (2347TW) May revenue up 4% MoM at NT$23.9bn

  Synnex (TWSE:2347) reported preliminary consolidated revenue of NT$23.9bn for the month of May 2020, up 4% MoM. As the pandemic impact becomes slowdown and several countries have begun to restart the economy, Synnex expects an uptrend revenue in the second quarter. Compared with the same period last year, since the month of Indonesia’s Ramadan was in May this year, combined with the impact of Forex fluctuation, the revenue was down 11% YoY. If remove the interference of Forex rate, the revenue was down by 5% YoY.

 

  By product, IT sales revenue in May’20 was NT$13.4bn, down 15% from NT$15.8bn YoY. YTM sales revenue totaled NT$70.0bn, down 14% YoY and shared 60% of total revenue.

 

  Telecom sales revenue in May’20 was NT$1.0bn, down 27% from NT$1.3bn YoY. YTM sales revenue totaled NT$5.2bn, down 33% YoY and shared 5% of total revenue.

 

  Consumer Electronics sales revenue in May’20 was NT$2.8bn, up 81% from NT$1.6bn YoY. YTM sales revenue amounted to NT$10.2bn, up 22% YoY and shared 9% of total revenue.

 

  IC components revenue in May’20 was NT$6.7bn, down 19% from NT$8.2bn YoY. YTM sales revenue totaled NT$ 30.3bn, down 18% YoY and shared 26% of total revenue.
